Delivering Embedded EHS Support for a Global Technology Company

Challenge

As part of a global team, Antea Group UK provided EHS support to a global technology company’s UK corporate office locations. Antea Group UK supplemented the client’s internal EHS efforts by providing subject matter expertise and EHS program management. The site portfolio included complex arrangements, requiring flexibility and responsiveness- to be there when and where needed, provide ongoing program management support and deliver EHS projects to improve EHS performance.

Solution

Antea Group UK provided support through 4 consultants who worked as a team to provide a consistent level of support. Their combined support equated to approximately 1.5 full time employees.

"Our team has been able to implement robust EHS programs designed to reduce and control operational risk and drive a positive safety culture with UK based employees,” the project manager said.

Specific ongoing support includes:

  • Fire Risk Assessments for all office locations reviewed annually
  • Office and Lab risk assessments
  • Delivery of relevant H&S training to employees
  • Coordination of all emergency response training (first aid and fire marshal) and delivery of fire marshal training
  • Incident Management and investigations
  • EHS Program / Management system development and maintenance
  • EHS Inspections and Audits
  • Coordination and delivery (via third party SMEs) of required industrial hygiene surveys
  • Stakeholder engagement
  • Event risk assessments and support

Result

1. Improved Compliance and Risk Control

Regular risk assessments, inspections, audits, and industrial hygiene surveys provided early hazard identification and stronger regulatory compliance across office and lab environments.

2. Enhanced Workforce Engagement and Emergency Preparedness

Targeted H&S, first aid, and fire marshal training improved employee awareness, emergency response capability, and overall organizational resilience.

3. Reduced Incidents and Stronger Performance Management

Structured incident investigations and corrective action tracking helped reduce recurrence and continuously improve safety performance.

4. A Mature and Sustainable EHS Management System

Ongoing program development and stakeholder engagement established a proactive, auditable framework that supports long-term operational excellence.
