Antea Group’s team of experts can help you comply with ESOS energy audits, action plans, and progress updates.
The Energy Savings Opportunity Scheme (ESOS) requires all large UK entities to conduct business operation energy audits once every four years and report on energy savings actions annually.
The qualification criteria for large entities are as follows:
- More than 250 employees
- Turnover exceeding £44.1m and a balance sheet exceeding £37.9m or
- Part of any corporate group that contains at least one ‘large’ company as defined above
ESOS Phase 4 has begun and all large companies have until December 2027 to conduct a representative sample of energy audits across buildings, transport, and processes.
ESOS Action Plans and Progress Updates are required to be completed annually, prior to the 5th of December. These action plans should include the energy-saving actions you intend to take over a 3-year period, progress updates that validate the actions you have completed, and the actual energy savings achieved.
