To meet this challenge, Antea Group UK's WELL Accredited Professional (WELL AP) team collaborated closely with key stakeholders within the client's Facilities, Environmental Health and Safety (EHS), and Design and Build teams. The process included:
Assessment and Planning: Conducting a comprehensive review of the client's existing health and safety policies and procedures across their 63 offices. Identifying areas for improvement and opportunities to achieve additional Innovation points.
Implementation: Assisting the client in the implementation of the WELL HSR requirements, focusing on the five key themes:
- Cleaning and Sanitization Procedures
- Emergency Preparedness Programmes
- Health Service Resources
- Air and Water Quality Management
- Stakeholder Engagement and Communication
Spot-Check Auditing: Streamlining the process for multiple sites by using a spot-check auditing process for some Features and implementing global policies across every site.
Ongoing Monitoring and Renewal: Supporting the client in their annual renewal process by ensuring that existing policies remained applicable and submitting ongoing monitoring results from routine checks for moisture and water testing.
Innovation and Safety Initiatives: Helping the client to go beyond the standard requirements of WELL HSR by seeking additional Innovation points. This included initiatives like the International SOS programme, which supports employees traveling and ensures their safety, particularly in regions with heightened risk, such as Israel.
